About The Event
Award-winning, British storyteller, humourist and author, Simon Brooks was born near places where folk and fairy tales happened. He visited places where myths had grown up. Some believe folk and fairy tales are for children, but some are too bawdy for kids, others too deep and dark for younger people. Brooks will take you on a journey of the mind with humour and pathos, and maybe a bit of eros, too, whilst all will leave you agape.
